No account or phone number
The current product does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or installer-consent form to run a calculation.
No solar lead sales
We do not sell calculator use, addresses, or contact information to installers, lenders, brokers, or lead marketplaces.
Limited provider requests
An address lookup is sent through our server to Google Geocoding. Coordinates are then sent to NLR PVWatts, and a state code is sent to EIA. API keys remain server-side.
Share links are user-controlled
Report links store selected calculation inputs in the URL. Anyone receiving the link can read those values, so review the URL before sharing it.
Operational details
Calculator inputs
Most calculations run in your browser. Core numeric inputs are written to the URL so refresh, print, and sharing can preserve a scenario. Optional installer and equipment names are not placed in the share URL.
Infrastructure logs
Hosting and API providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, request time, browser metadata, requested route, coordinates, or geocoding query as needed to operate and secure their services. Their own privacy terms apply.
Cookies and advertising
The current site does not include an advertising network, lead marketplace, account system, or behavioral analytics SDK. If that changes, this policy and the interface must be updated before the new collection begins.
Sensitive information
Do not enter Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, tax documents, access codes, or other sensitive information. They are not needed for these tools.
